The inserts are filled with the finest hypoallergenic down blend found in luxurious human comforters, which, as a natural material, also helps to regulate your dog's body temperature. Certified to be free of all substances harmful to your dog and your family, our duvet insert fabrics are double-stitched, down-proof and certified Eco-friendly. And because we detest those ghastly scratchy, lumpy fillers as much as our friends with allergies do, we searched high and low until we found an amazingly soft down alternative in Europe. It's amazing how much it really feels like down!

When we look for just the right material for our luxury dog duvets, we seek out soft, high quality screen printed fabrics that we would be excited to have in our home - and something that won't put us to sleep! We love fresh and inspiring color palettes and now offer beautiful whimsical prints from Maine Cottage® furniture, which add dimension, texture, personality and warmth to any setting. Our Courtyard fabrics are also fabulous - these colorfast and stain-resistant fabrics have a soft hand and are not stiff like many of the other outdoor fabrics we've seen, offering timeless luxury. And for our Dog On It™, nothing but genuine Polartec® fleece (actually made in Massachusetts) made sense.

We understand, appreciate and demand quality in our home, so our covers and inserts are made in Maine, a state renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship (as well as its incredible vacation homes). We offer the sort of dressmaker details we expect from all our home accessories: Our seams are finished inside to prevent fraying. The gussets are lined for extra support. Our hidden heavy duty zippers are two way with two pulls. And the zipper is on the long side of the bed to make it easier to get the cover on and off.
